Summary
On April 11, 2024, SiRT received a referral from the RCMP “J” Division regarding a collision between an RCMP vehicle and a civilian vehicle at Steeves Mountain, New Brunswick, that occurred while RCMP officers were responding to a call. SiRT began its investigation that day. As a result of the investigation, on October 9, 2025, Constable Attilio Cazares-Caucci was charged with failing to yield, contrary to s. 166 of the New Brunswick Motor Vehicle Act.
