Summary
SiRT received a referral from the RCMP on September 20, 2019 with respect to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on September 13, 2019. An investigation was commenced on September 20, 2019and completed on February 27, 2020. The following were obtained and reviewed in preparation of this report: a description of events provided by the subject officer Cst. Jeffrey, the reports of five officers who either attended the scene or were involved in the investigation of the collision, statements from five civilian witnesses, the Affected Party’s (AP) statement and medical reports, police radio transmissions and police vehicle GPS, photos of the collision scene and reconstruction diagrams, a report prepared by the collision reconstructionist, a video of the road taken from the Enfield Fire Department, a video of the route travelled by Cst.
