SiRT Investigating Police Involved Shooting on Tobique First Nation (Neqotkuk)
The Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) is investigating a police involved shooting that occurred on Tobique First Nation (Neqotkuk)this evening, January 18, 2026. An adult male has passed away.
SiRT was contacted by the RCMP shortly after the incident and assumed responsibility for the investigation immediately. More information to come.
